Sometimes the most meaningful custom work begins with a firearm that already holds significance.
This pistol slide was hand engraved for a customer seeking to transform a functional component into a lasting keepsake. Flowing scrollwork was carefully added to complement the existing lines of the slide while preserving its clean, purposeful appearance.
Rather than covering every available surface, the engraving was intentionally balanced around the contours of the slide, creating movement and visual interest without overwhelming the design. The result is a refined enhancement that adds character, individuality, and craftsmanship while respecting the original form of the firearm.
Created as a personal commission, this project demonstrates how thoughtful engraving can elevate a working firearm into something worthy of being passed from one generation to the next.
