Legacy Class Ring Cross

Some pieces of jewelry mark a chapter of life.

Others help carry that chapter forward.

This one-of-a-kind reversible cross was created from a customer's class ring after she decided it was time to transform a treasured keepsake into something she could continue wearing every day. Her only request was a cross. The rest was left entirely to the artist.

Rather than melting the ring and starting over, elements of the original design were carefully preserved and incorporated into the new piece. Symbols and details that once appeared on the ring now occupy the center of the cross, allowing the memories and significance of the original piece to remain visible and celebrated.

One side features engraved details, textured surfaces, and design elements reclaimed directly from the class ring itself. The reverse side offers a completely different presentation, showcasing diamonds set into diamond-shaped accents at each point of the cross. The result is a reversible pendant that can be worn according to the occasion, mood, or preference of its owner.

By transforming a piece that had become difficult to wear into something deeply personal and meaningful, the cross preserves the story of the original jewelry while giving it an entirely new purpose.
