About This Piece

A dependable field knife begins with control.

This handcrafted Damascus field hunter was designed with secure handling, practical performance, and everyday reliability in mind. Compact enough to carry comfortably yet substantial enough for serious work, it reflects the balance of utility and craftsmanship found throughout Jeff's work.

The blade is forged from Damascus steel, displaying the flowing layered patterns that make every piece unique. Its versatile profile provides excellent cutting performance while maintaining the strength expected from a working knife.

One of the defining features of this knife is the pronounced thumb ramp along the spine. Designed to provide a secure indexing point for the hand, the ramp offers exceptional control during detailed cutting tasks and creates a confident, comfortable grip.

The handle is crafted from black and green Micarta, a material known for its durability, stability, and excellent grip characteristics. A red liner adds a distinctive accent and creates a subtle contrast that highlights the handle's shape and construction.

Loveless fasteners secure the handle scales and provide a clean, timeless appearance, while the oversized lanyard hole offers practical carry and retention options.

Compact, rugged, and purpose-built, this knife is equally at home in the field, around camp, or as part of a daily carry kit.
