About This Piece

Some pieces begin as jewelry. Others begin as tradition.

This signet ring was created completely by hand, starting from a carved wax model before being cast in sterling silver using traditional lost-wax casting methods. From the first cut in wax to the final engraving, every stage of the process was done by Jeff by hand — shaping, casting, finishing, and engraving the piece from raw material into a finished ring.

The face of the ring features the Square and Compasses of the Third Degree Master Mason, surrounded by flowing hand-engraved scrollwork that gives the piece both depth and character. The engraving carries the balance Jeff is known for — detailed enough to honor the symbolism, while still remaining clean and timeless in design.

Masonic imagery has always lent itself beautifully to engraving work. The geometry, symbolism, and traditional forms create a natural connection between craftsmanship and meaning, making each ring feel personal to the person who wears it.

What makes a piece like this special is that it begins as a blank canvas. The wax is carved by hand, molds are made in-house, and the ring can be cast in sterling silver or gold before the engraving even begins. Every step allows the design to become something unique rather than mass produced.

This isn’t simply a ring — it’s a handcrafted piece of symbolism, tradition, and personal craftsmanship meant to last for generations.
