The Legacy Trio

Some gifts are meant for a season.

Others are meant to last a lifetime.

The Legacy Trio was created as a special Christmas gift from a father to his son and grandson, celebrating family, tradition, and the bonds shared across three generations.

Each knife was handcrafted to be part of a matching set while remaining uniquely personal to its owner. Built around high carbon steel blades and red paper Micarta handles with white liners, the design reflects the family's enthusiasm for Oklahoma football while creating a visual connection between all three knives.

Hand-engraved brass bolsters provide the defining personal touch. One side of each bolster features scrollwork engraving, while the opposite side carries the name of its owner—Kevin, Devin, or Carson—ensuring that every knife remains individually identifiable while still belonging to the larger collection.

Loveless fasteners and integrated lanyard holes complete the design, creating practical working knives built to be carried, used, and eventually passed along.

While the materials and craftsmanship are important, the true significance of these knives lies in what they represent: three generations connected through family, shared memories, and a gift designed to endure long after the holiday season has passed.

Creating one knife is rewarding. Creating three matching knives for three generations of the same family was something special. The goal was to build a set that reflected both their shared traditions and the individuality of each person who would carry one.
